Advocacy and Awareness
Together with the State Government, PWDC organised the inaugural State Level Family Day with the theme “Celebrating Families” in 2019.
In an attempt to put the priority of family unit at the forefront of every individual, the Family Day aims to highlight and raise awareness on the importance of family as a basic unit of a society as well as to provide a space for celebrations of families which enables family members to interact with one another through fun and fruitful activities.
The Family Day will be held annually to continue to provide the space for celebrations, interactions and for knowledge sharing across all segments of society.
